Our history
Our story begins in October 2021.
As two emigrants we were looking for great luck in Morocco. We wanted to discover the world with our bitches, Acacia and Sierra (former street dogs).
At the end of October we noticed that our Sierra is pregnant. Our joy was divided because of the prevailing relationship between humans and dogs.
On November 21, 2021, Sierra gave birth to seven puppies. She was born mom.
Since that day, our family has grown steadily. We were able to give another six street puppies a home.
But where there are many animals, there are also diseases.
Since January 2022, five puppies have died of parvovirus at intervals of several weeks. The virus is fatal to puppies within 1-2 days ☠.
Our psychological burden was enormous, since we wanted to help the dogs and not bury them one after the other.
Sierra's stroke of fate was to change everything!!
As a measure to curb disease, dogs are executed twice a year on the street.
On February 17th, 2022 it was that time again. Unannounced, hunter patrols drive around the country and shoot any dog that runs in front of the gun.
Our Sierra was in the wrong place at the wrong time that day. She didn't come back home. We couldn't and still can't put our pain into words.
Sierra was pure life, pure intuition. On that day we not only lost our true protector, but also our mother and best friend.
We need a change and we need it NOW! Help us to protect and save the Moroccan street dogs.
With vaccinations and castrations, we want to offer the dogs and thus also the people a way out of this vicious circle.
In deepest connection
